Our Resources

With reform comes county, state, and federal requirements. In keeping with our goal of supplying the Imperial Valley and beyond with the best produce, it's our aim to be educated and to implement these reforms. Below is a few of the integral resources we provide our farmers so they can do just that.

LETTUCE MOSAIC VIRUS TESTING

The County of Imperial requires that all lettuce seed sold to be planted in Imperial County is tested for lettuce mosaic disease. As the designated coordinator for this testing, we appreciate the cooperation of the industry in this important requirement.

ONION ISOLATION MAP

Onion Isolation Maps allow seed companies and growers to confirm distance restrictions on pollination and varieties are being met. IVVGA has no legal authority over posted locations. All pinning will be done by Imperial Valley Veg Growers staff.
